Help Needed: Engine or Transmission Blew?

Howdy folks,

Relevant car specs below, this paragraph is what happened. I was commuting home from work via the local highway in my 2014 BRZ. Was traveling about 75MPH when I downshifted from 6th into 4th gear (I know, not very smart but was having some fun after a long week) about to take the exit ramp. Blipped the throttle like usual, but the back end slipped out. Managed to catch it and pull the car back, but the engine stalled out after I got the car straight and took the exit ramp. Under throttle, the engine makes a real guttural, metallic sound now. It doesn't sound like rod knock though, and it goes away when the car is idle. Transmission feels fine and goes into all gears no problem, but random dash lights come on and off when the RPMs drop coming to a stop, and the car stalls when the RPMs drop below about 800.

I honestly don't know if I missed 4th and somehow slipped it into 2nd, or if something wonky just happened when I downshifted. Been working 90hr weeks the last few months with little breaks and my brain is a little fried. Feel free to call me an idiot, I'm pretty sure I deserve it lol. Really hoping for some help diagnosing the issue.

2014 BRZ, 132,000 miles (current engine 35,000 miles)
Openflash Stage 2+ E85 tune
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Verus carbon fiber driveshaft
Mishimoto cold air intake
More miscellaneous things done, but none pertinent to this issue.

Strange that it's not doing it at idle. Was thinking it threw a rocker arm or something. I wouldn't drive it, get the oil changed to check for particulate in the oil, and have someone with a borescope check the cylinders to see if the pistons have marring from possible valve contact

Dumping 6th to 4th at 75mph won’t cause an issue. 4th is good for over 100mph at redline. I would guess you actually hit second. Especially since the back end stepped out, second is only good for like 58mph. No telling for sure what’s wrong without actually checking the engine out. May have bent a valve or something.

Update:

Couldn't read the dash lights because they appear on and off, and my reader can't grab them from memory.

Motor is toast, it started sounding like a bent rod yesterday when I was checking it out and now I'm afraid to start it. Got it towed to a shop. Thank you for the suggestions guys.
