I think I saw earlier in the thread that they don't, but people are speculating if it's just a missing fuse. Might be mistaken though.

Does anyone know if busting out a window will set off the alarm? I didn't realize my alarm wasn't on until after someone broke in.

Breaking a window will not trip the alarm, there is no impact sensor. But unlocking the door from the inside (to open the door) after the window has been broken, should trip the alarm.

From reading this thread I found out that the alarm in my '19 wasn't active. It is now activated. Thanks. I would not have ever known

Otherwise thanks!

The instructions are really unintuitive - to repeat - the key is to keep the interior door latch handle open with one hand for about 10 seconds while you're pressing the unlock button with the other hand.

Just did this on my 2016 release series frs. Worked the first time i tried the sequence. I guess its better to have it on, than off. But not sure if there's a benefit of having it on or not.

Just activated my 2019. Pressing the unlock And opening door by holding unlock button has to be very quick. Also tested the alarm by leaving the window open, locking the car, leaving the fob to a safe distance and try to open the door through the window.
Now I hav my alarm on
Perfect!

Worked on my 2019 Limited as well. As others have mentioned, you need to do the lock and unlock sequence pretty quick.

After locking the car from the outside, the red car/lock icon indicator on the gauge cluster remains lit for about 30 seconds before it starts to blink.
