In my Mazdaspeed 3 I run a gallon of in-tank meth. That combined with 200hp worth of auxiliary meth at the throttle body is absolute jet fuel, and lot cheaper than toluene.

Yeah this is similar to my experience logging at the track as well. Even on 100 octane, I was seeing moderate knock. In some loads/rpms, the ECU was pulling 4+ degrees of timing. This was on 93 stage 1 and 2 tunes.
Ive posted my data logs somewhere around here. I eventually pulled so much ignition timing out some places on the map, it was equivalent to stock.

Our engines definitely like higher octane, especially in hot conditions and under extended high rpm use.

I'm looking forward to trying e85 with its 108 octane rating.

E85 is definitely nice. Worth having to carry fuel jugs around.

I still wont track in the summer. Afraid of what will happen lol

You really just need to stop posting.
Meth has an effective octane of 180 in a DI application.

Don't respond to him, it ain't worth the rise he gets, the fact he can't use the quote button is a hard tell. He didn't even post an actual rebuttal yet

Do I need to respond?

I’ll log how many miles I get with 87 before I get a problem and you log how many miles you get before you get a problem with with meth and the other products. Let’s see who has a problem first.
