For what you're getting with the Emtron, it's really inexpensive. You can get an Emtron set up for what it costs for the hardware alone if you went the Motec route.

I found when doing a harness for an engine swap ems on this platform you end up splicing in to quite a bit of the factory wiring. As well there are a couple connectors, well at least with the 2j swap that are in high heat areas and could potentially cause issue. In those connectors are a handful of needed wires. I removed the connectors and excess wiring and repinned the wires still needed for for dtm connectors and changed their location. If someone (harness manufacturer for instance) was to follow the same rout as I did I do not think they would feel comfortable leaving that in the customers hands. If the customer was capable of dealing with that, they would be capable enough to build a harness them selves.

Subbed. And yes, I've been very patient. And I've been told yes, then no, then yes a million times.

Last time I contacted them they are waiting to release the swap kit until a electronics's solution has been found to keep the stock items working that need canbus signals.

OMG...Emtron IS the answer. Much better than two factory ECU's and a CAN box bandaid.

@cf6mech would you happen to know the part numbers for the transmission components used in your swap I was looking to use the same transmission but have been unable to find a T56 magnum xl for a LS3. I contacted Vorshlag through a few separate channels and have not received a response as of yet. To be clear I made the inquiry yesterday so they may get back to me. I was going to order it through them if possible since they put in the work to figure it out.

We have the old pricing, but it has gone up a little since we bought one and I'm waiting for our builder to give me the current pricing.

To reiterate. I have an Emtron EMS in my 2JZ swapped FRS. Everything works. Emtron is a verified solution. I believe Haltech and obviously Motec are also answers.

Thanks for the update. Once I get the current quote I will be buying it from your shop. I figure you should reap the rewards for putting in the work figuring out what transmission fits best. received a email with the old price and that's about what I expected. Can't wait to get it ordered.

I ordered the transmission and throwout bearing assembly from Vorshlag. It will take two weeks to put everything together is what I was told, then it will ship. I'm waiting on pricing for the master cylinder hopefully I can pick that up shortly. They have to fabricate parts to fit it to the FR-S. I'm just waiting for a quote on off the shelf parts and the materials and time for the fabrication of the custom parts.
