That might not go over well.

I exaggerate, but it is outrageous. I could finance a Ferrari for the price of the monthly premiums, and that gets us nothing. You still are out of pocket for the first $8200 each a year. that's the most affordable plan I could find. Sucks. My older brother warned me when he retired.

Ok, healthcare rant over.

Awe shit boys, I had to call them to get it to start working, but I finally have a working debit card for my fully funded business account. Time to spend some money.

Absolutely ridiculous insurance costs. If healthcare isn't fixed by the time I retire, I'll head off for some other country that figured this out.

My dad retired at 60. They were quoted over 1200 a month for both my parents. So he went back to work part time as a real estate agent just to pay for insurance.

Has anyone here actually got Ridged to replace their battery?
I got several sets for work and tried to get the battery replaced. First I was told that my registration was bad as I had not used the whole sn number, then was told that lifetime meant that they would replace the battery only once.
Never got one replaced.
Liked the tools but changed after the 25cent runaround. Life time NOT.
Oh, I was told that the replacement was run through a third party and they were trying to get them to fix their web site.

There are so many slight differences in charge and discharge ratings, temp ratings, blah blah... I'm not sure that I can swap out the cells without creating a potential fire hazard.

My boss has a theory. He drinks a lot, and says, alcohol kills brain cells. However this makes me smarter since the strong cells survive and weak ones are dead. Natural selection I liked this theory and plan to apply it on wife to let me start smoking again, but that would not gonna happen. It's been more than 10 years, and I still cannot get smoking out of my mind.

No sense of adventure.

The BMS should protect it and there is usually a thermal fuse. Should isn't really that strong of a word though.

my co-worker got a few of the m12 knockoff's a while back. i warned him before he did it.

they had about half the runtime of the genuine packs, and there was a definite difference in the power/speed of the tool changing between a knockoff and genuine pack. for a home workshop/occasional use, the cost savings is worthwhile.

try their 12v surge i just got one, the co-worker had one for a few months. big power, small package.

i did look into the 12v soldering iron, but prefer my butane iron for emergency repairs. it heats up quicker, is cheaper if it gets lost, and just as accurate. anything i can plan ahead on, i much prefer taking the Hakko and running an extension cord.

i read the fine print of the exclusions on the lifetime program, i used it as confirmation to buy milwaukee tools instead.
