lol You USA guys are funny

In Australia

Your looking at 34k for a GT base model, 39k For a GTS, the BRZ works out the same as a GTS depending on options.

Then again, your looking at 40k+ For a WRX, 43k+ for a Golf GTI.

So relatively its still the bargain of the century

No kidding, I was just out in Australia for a couple weeks and talking to a buddy there about my FR-S, he decided to look it up after I said it was only 20-30k. We proceeded to compare all kinds of vehicles for about 30 minutes, and I was just in shock at the prices of vehicles there compared to in the states.

Our wages are higher, but what we pay for performance and luxury cars is ridiculous.

Want a Porsche 911 Turbo S? That will be $500,000 thanks.

A GTR is $180000

A Boxter is over $100000

So over here, getting something like a BRZ for $35 is just amazing value.

I just purchased a new FR-S, 2013, out the door for under 21K. All taxes and fees included. Sticker price was over 26K. I had no intent on getting a new anything. I had just dropped by the dealer to have the oil changed on Dad's car. I guess I should have stayed in the waiting room instead of wondering around the lot. But that red FRS just looked great sitting outside the front door!
