Will The Brembo BBK of the Performance Package BRZ fit into the wheels of Series Blue

As the title states... I'm wondering if the BBK from the '17 Performance Package BRZ will fit into the BRZ STI wheels from the Series Blue. 17x7 5x100 +48... I have a feeling the offsets may be different but I need someone who can actually confirm it.

Nope they won't, you'll need a spacer to run them

That I don't know, I just tried to fit a friends STI wheels and they didn't fit I didn't want to run spacers so I didn't bother to check.

They won't clear, that's why the STI JDM site mandates 18" x 7.5J for the optional Brembos.

True for the tS... But not for the 2017 BRZ Performance Package in North America... The wheels for the new 2017 BRZ PP are 17x7.5 with the same offset (+48) as the 2013+ stockies.

All the numbers look the same but the width of the wheels which are 0.5 wider than the ones I've got, so I was just curious if that is the deal breaker for the BBKs.

I stand corrected.

Interesting cuz back when they only made 7.5J for both 17" and 18", STI recommended 18" for the Brembos.

Now they revised the website and states the following:

※ You can not set standard wheeled wheels. Replacement with Brembo Brakes Aluminum Wheel is required. Corresponding
STI aluminum wheel part no.
18 inch: ST28100MF250, ST28100MF260, ST28100MF270, ST28100MF280
17 inch: ST28100MF050, ST28100MF060, ST28100MF080
* BRZ tS standard component

Item No.: ST28100MF050 PT Silver 17 × 7.5J + 48 PCD100 5 hole
Product No .: ST28100MF060 Gunmetalic 17 × 7.5J + 48 PCD100 5 hole
Product No .: ST28100MF080 Black 17 × 7.5J + 48 PCD100 5 hole

http://www.sti.jp/parts/subarubrz_zc/brake/26100AS000/
http://www.sti.jp/parts/subarubrz_zc.../ST28100MF050/

Dam that means I can get the Brembo option and my ST28100MF060 rims will fit!

The worst part is the shipping. FedEx + customs added up to be the same as another rim lol!

They are Enkei flow formed cast wheels Made in Japan.

Gawd damn... Lol Stupid USDM 17x7... Why U no add 0.5 to the width!? xD

I have a feeling the tS Brembos are bigger than the Performance Package BRZ Brembos. Hmmm...

The link I've provided is for the tS standard Brembo brakes and it's clearly saying on the fine print that you need 17" x 7.5J.

Interesting! Sorry, I guess I missed that...

I wonder why they went ahead with the 18 inch wheels for tS then. Hmmm.

If this is anything like the brembos on the WRX STI then it's not wheel diameter you're worried about, it's spoke clearance. The calipers are wider and won't clear depending upon spoke design. Wheel width and offset are irrelevant.

On those setups you'd need a 5mm spacer to clear with factory rims, not sure about the BRZ PP setup but I'd guess it's the same.

Anyone know if the Brembo BBK will fit into a regular 2017 with non-PP wheel?
