So where will the fog light switch go...
On the BRZ it is on the turn signal stalk I think. But the FRS doesnt have that. I thought maybe the button would go next to the trunk release, but there isn't a cutout for a button.
Ideas? Maybe thats why its taking a while to come out |

I thought on the BRZ it was next to the trunk release. It's a dummy on the FRS right now

Ours(nissan) usually come with a new headlight switch in the kit.

Fog lamps for the BRZ and FR-S are on the turn signal stock.
BRZ Premium without Fog Lamps: BRZ Limited with Fog Lamps: GT86 with Fog Lamps: The switch next to the trunk release is for adjusting brightness of HID's, hence exclusion of it from the FR-S: Edit: It's for leveling of the headlamps. Last edited by CrazyWookiee; 10-01-2012 at 05:22 PM. |

It isn't all that difficult to install. Subaru has been doing this for years on their cars. You could buy a foglight kit for the STi, and it is pretty much plug and play.
To change the stalk, you pop the steering wheel off usually, and it's pretty straight forward from there. |

I've done the install you drill out a hole next to the trunk release. You have to do it near there since you tap into wires already there.

The other symbol is for the rear fog light...the red triangle between the back up lights.

Sucks because you have to drill out a hole and our dremel is stuck at max speed..... Had to go get a washer to fill the edges.
You tap into the white wire with blue tape on it. |

Oops. Thanks for pointing that out. I was just making an educated guess.
