Which oil catch can for NA?
Those of you who installed an oil catch can on naturally aspirated and track the car, do you pick up any significant amount of oil?
If so, which brand did you install?

I have the cusco one. I have however modified it with internal baffling and routed it the way the radium catch can goes. I do notice quite a bit of oil after 1-2 months. I just emptied it the other day and it had a decent amount of oil in it.

I'm running the dual Radium catch cans on an NA setup. My car is pretty much track-only at this point (except for driving to/from the track).
On the PCV side, I collect a little bit of oil but it's enough where I'm glad it's there. I empty it out every ~6 months. There is nothing but a light mist on the crankcase side. |

Mishimoto for me. The BRZ/GT86 kit, not their generic one. Works well, looks stock (kinda). I'd say about 5 cl of oil after 5000 km and a trackday.

Baffling seems to be the most important thing beyond proper routing (PVC is the priority).
I'll be ordering Radium very soon after I noticed blowby at the crankcase. If it continues at the crankcase after I'll add the second one |

Dual Radium catch cans for me. PCV side collects a little bit of oil (enough to make me happy I have it), and the crankcase vent side doesn't accumulate any noticeable amount.

I used a single Radium can on the PCV side with a home made mount before they did a kit. It definitely caught enough oil to make me glad I had it. I now have the RacerX dual setup, will check it after this weekend to see if it has caught anything. If you are only looking to do one can, I'd definitely do the Radium.

+1 for Radium Engineering's FRS/BRZ specific kit. Just running the PCV version as the crankcase version doesn't really accumulate anything on an N/A application. I don't track the car, but oil still accumulates even as a daily driver.

I have the RacerX catch can and am very happy with it. My experience is the same as the others in that the PCV side catches between a teaspoon and tablesoons worth per month and virtually nothing on the crankcase side. I really liked how the RacerX intergrates into the engine bay. Very subtle.

Aren't dual catch cans best for a turbo application and overkill for an N/A application? The N/A car will probably have like a teaspoon a month of liquid in the catch can
