Help name this part
Hello! I believe this is the right place to post this.
Long story short, I crashed my BRZ and since its paid off don't have full coverage. Fixing it myself, and broke the drivers side rear suspension, and I think I bent this part but can't find the name of it or where it'd be located in Subaru parts any help would be appreciated!! Thanks! |

Subframe:
https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_20...0152CA000.html Subaru wholesale part sellers have the part for cheaper, but I imagine the shipping cost would end up making it more expensive than picking one up at the dealer @ MSRP. Not only will this come with new subframe bushings, but also new differential cradle bushings. |

Help name this part
I would pull the bolt out, it could be you just bent the mounting bolt and the bushing is pushed over.
oh yeah, and that is the subframe.

Oh I have seen those before! That is a Squiglyspooch. They are common on Japanese vehicles.

I think it is called an expensive lesson to not drop full coverage. You really don't save that much.
Good luck with your fix. |

Yup. You don’t drop full coverage because it’s paid off. You drop full coverage if you can afford to and willing to outright replace it at full cost. Unless you have a spare 15-30k laying around that you are willing to lose, you want collision/comprehensive. |
