Could be more aggressive but I was just happy I'm revisiting this track for the first time since Jan 2004.

I'm using QSTARZ Q6000 Lap timer, which I've verified against the timing equipment @ thunderhill, and clocked a respectable time for a lightly modified NA 86 on street tires.

I'm glad his angus was not peppered as mine would have been peppered too.
That was definitely the closest call I've ever had out on track.

Kudos to Emerson for avoiding my spin. Perhaps I was too eager to try to put some space between us after finally getting by that Porsche 911 in front of us.

This was outta session 2 with my uncle-in-law riding passenger for his 1st time ever out on track ... i thought he'd be scared sh!tless but he described that spin afterwards as a great thrill ... go figure.

Nice for Emerson to have, what it appears to be, anticipated your spin and hence taking the most convenient way to avoid the collision. Great driving from both of you to have avoided a bad day

Greetings from Las Vegas ...
LOL according to my Harry's Lap Timer I got a best of 1:52.98.

Same deal, I was taking it somewhat easy and still completely toasted my remaining brake pads in front. Brakes sounded horrible on the drive back home. Just parked it and flew off to LV haha. Heading back to SFO soon and maybe will get a chance to look at the brakes tomorrow when I get back. And maybe review my videos. I'm sure I scared @finch1750 enough on my first lap out with him. He didn't come back for another ride after that LOL.
