I like this...

The Auto Express report predicts a 210-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder developed by Mugen – that would be up 12 horsepower from the 2010 model, but down 46 horses on the limited edition Type R tuned by Mugen that was "a tribute to the Honda K20" engine and part of the last model's run. It's said the 2013 will feature a stop/start system and a six-speed manual.

... but that car is ugly as sin!

Yeah, it is pretty ugly looking, and I don't like the who idea of the stop start system too, sure it sounds all good on hybrids where the electric motor will propel the car till the gas engine starts or on a brand new car that starts right up, but what happens a few years down the line when the car doesn't start up quite as well and they start causing traffic as they wait for the engine to start before they can go when the light turns green.

Yep. I now need to add this to my previous statement here:

Personal opinion here, but it wouldn't matter to me if the Megane did 0-60 in 0.1 seconds, and got around the track faster than the Stig in a pod-racer, that is just not an attractive car. I feel the same way about the Abarth, and the proposed Civic R-Type.

I do like the Euro interior though. Better than our 2012 at least, IMHO.

If the article never stated that car as the new CTR I would have guessed it was the new insight.

Wow. Who in their right mind gave this design the go ahead. Was there a focus group from ugly-town full of people who love all things ugly?
