I'm disappointed. They seem to have made the car cheaper looking. Toyota has made the FRS look like the more expensive car.

The steering wheel looks so lame and that 86 badge looks aftermarket.
The interior dash carpet stuff or whatever it's called on the passenger side looks like what someone does to in the aftermarket world. Looks very cheap!
The seats look boring.
86 logo on the headlights looks like something a ricer would do lol

I'll pick up the carpet though probably to get those 86 badges haha
The rims also seem very nice, might consider them once i see them in person.

And more:
The headlight logo looks like something a 12-year old ricer would do.

Also, I am wondering how durable it is, how it will look after 3 years on the road.

Toyota's press conference from earlier today. The 86 has the first few minutes.

IMo, looked a lot better in this video than in the pictures that were recently released. I'll save final judgement on design until I see one in person.

Was hoping for more details on the mechanicals though. Seems like the 5hp increase is only on the MT which doesn't quite make sense to me, and there will be a gearing change in the diff.

Never mind the 5 extra ponies, if I was looking to buy a 86 right now I would be rushing to pick up a 15 before these things flood delerships.

Why do they spend half of the video focused on the presenter instead of showing details of the actual car?
