Not saying you can't make it a screamer of a car, but it not what they have been shooting for. They are just looking for a an overall great, fun car. I think the show stopper that you were hoping for isn't here. As for the SS you are talking about getting, you can have that. I don't like the way drive or feel on the road. Its was a 2010 I drove for four days... The ride quality wasn't all that great, but maybe they have gotten better, and I don't know how well they are as track cars. If you get one let me know... I do like the look of the car.
I never talked about getting an SS...

Even though you can clearly see what looks like a MkII body () with a MkI style front bumper, in my head you've already ballsed this part up (irrespective of the fact that this could look quite good). Please bring the goods in the power-weight, handling, price and driving dynamics/feel department.

That is all, thanks.

The AE86 is "bland" looking (I like it) but it speaks volumes about itself on the track/curves. I agree, just bring the goods regarding power-weight, handling, price...etc. and all will be good.

What do you guys think of the spoiler on the car? I don't care for the edges of it where it looks too much like the Mk2 version.

Those tail lights look awful though! Fix those up and we'll have a winner, not a pontiac aztec.

It looks like a fairly standard spoiler for a production car. An accent that's not too overboard and not very functional. Hopefully it'll be an option and you can order it without it

I hope so too, but this thing needs a spoiler nonetheless, at least one that will do it justice.

Looks like shit on the concept, doesn't look much better here.

If I wanted an exact copy of an AE86, I'd buy one. 25% of the reason why this car is appealing (to me) is because, it ***looks*** appealing.

Thanks for posting Hachi! :happy0180:

Now we have a better idea of what the final production model might look like; since this isn't covered up.

Is it indeed very bland looking and I can see this car being in the low to mid 20's.

We want something that will look great that won't break our wallets.

Doesn't look too bad, definitely not as good as the Scion "Concept" in NY but obviously more production ready (looks like a watered down MKII as others have stated). Looking at the headlights and tailights the both look more rounded that the sharp edges presented in any of the concepts IMO
