btw OP, your car seems to be very clean. i don't see dust on your dash.
00 button is for those who listen to radio and the radio station has a top of the hour beep for you to synchronize your analog clocks.

For example, your radio station tells you now it is 3pm and you look at your clock it reads 2:58 or 3:01, you simply press the 00 button.

Kind of legacy function now.

Yes, the clock is very easy to set. I think it is made by Commodore.

Love the clock buttons. The :00 has some potential, I foresee in the future if I ever needed to keep track of time (in minutes) it could be useful.

But right now, it's as useful as the kmh/mph button.

i agree on the simplicity of the clock buttons on the FR-S. It's a nice change from most cars. (I still have to set the clocks on both of my parents' honda elements when I go home)

Although the jeep has scion on this one. My grand cherokee just has a "daylight saving time" button that swaps it for ya.

Odd. We don't have that button in Europe (but I can't say for UK...)

There was once an Audi that you had to open the drivers side door in order to change the clock.

Don't know if that is in fact true...but pretty funny.

It's actually made by Citizen/Rhythm Watch Company, which makes pretty reputable stuff. But yeah, it's become sort of a trademark of Toyota to have separate old-school clocks in their cars I think.

Sorry to burst any bubbles or maybe allow for more Toyota appreciation, AE86 had similar clock... So my 85 Corolla was just as easy to change ... Hehehe but hey, I am proud and happy just because I can do the same things in both of my cars... Lol
