I ran mine for about a year. No problems but they're were pretty rusty when they came off. I do live in the UK though where the roads are salted a lot in the winter.

I've put 10K miles so far in mixed street/track and so far they have held up great.

I didn't change springs at all on the Tein Flex A's they were the standard 6kg front and rear.

Awesome! Thanks for the help. Are they better than stock at the track? Someone told me they were too soft for track use, but I only go to the track about once a year. I want something comfortable on the street with at least the same performance as the stock struts.

They are perfect for my local tracks, but they are low speed tracks

I just installed mine a few days ago, and must I say they are really nice. A big upgrade from stock suspension to Tien Flex A.

How would you rate the comfort of them compared to stock?

Sorry about the late reply*

Comfort wise, they are a lot better. Even at no adjustments they ride nice, though for me in my area were there's a bit more bumps and potholes, I did 6 clicks away from the softest setting and wow I'm impressed. My next plan is to get the pro active controller for it as it'll make adjustments not the fly while driving.

BUMP!

Curious to know what everyone’s “click” settings are for

AUTOCROSS:
Daily Driving:

Had my first Autocross run this past weekend. It was suggested to me that I try 7 clicks from stiff on all 4 corners. Car felt great except for the really tight turns, where my rears were losing contact. The following run I tightened all 4 corners to 5 clicks from stiff and I felt planted on soft corners and slaloms, but it felt like I was on ice on the hard corners.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Oh BTW, don’t drive through downtown Savannah, GA without softening your dampers.... I think I lost a filling!

You should also mention your tires and alignment settings imho. Coilover dampening adjustment is not the only thing affecting handling.

On track I used to run mine 2 clicks from full stiff as I found the standard Flex A's to be very soft. On the road somewhere between 7-11 clicks from full stiff depending on whether I wanted wafty comfort or more fun.
