With my military honed peripheral vision, I saw the attack coming. So, with my military trained, lightning fast reactions, I maneuvered my nimble FR-S around the ambush zone. The enemy slammed on his brakes and broke off the ambush.

I've heard people say that military training and acquired skills have no application to civilian life. I disagree. It seems like every time I drive my FR-S, some dumb shit driver tries to ambush me -

I did not crash.

Acquired skills have no application? To this day I can nap anyplace under any conditions. All without crashing

Ya, I hear that. When I was a cadet, I remember falling out of the stands in Army training areas, plopping down in the dust with my head on my steel pot, smoking a cigarette and falling asleep till the cigarette burnt my fingers - all on a 10 minute break.

Now, THAT's crashing -

Drove my FRS to work today. I think a pickup truck next to me launched some road debris at me or something. Heard a loud crack as I was getting off the highway. Stopped and found some dented-in gouges in my door and rocker panel. One last F-you from I83 commuting I suppose. I'll post pics when I get home.

That doesn't count as a crash does it? If so, did not crash.

Dude, 83 is fucking cursed. If it isn't the road quality or debris, its deer. If it isn't any of those, its the other drivers.

I have to go through several construction zones in my nearly 30 mile commute to work. Today was fairly smooth, all things considered. Did not crash.

Cars been sitting for a couple days since I'm too busy to drive it like normal, didn't crash. Sometimes a week will go by...
The benefit of not driving it a lot like I do is every time I get back in, it's like I am driving it for the first time.
New car every day!

Today I've tried the sport mode for the first time. Driving a RW car is a complete different story. I can corner a FW car on its limits without a problem, especially if it has an LSD. And used to think that I'm a good driver. However, now I feel like a rookie. Man its not easy. Especially, when the traction is OFF, it is very easy to loose the control of the car. It sure is fun, but very scary.. I just loved it..

Well, someone did ask one time, why I didn't "combat park" in my garage.

They just don't understand! I have enough problem missing the side of the garage when I'm backing out
!

Drove my FRS today (and since saturday) with a brand new clutch after my TOB exploded. Feels so strange but after 250ish miles it feels god damned amazing.

A view like the above from an office in the UK either means you work for a very obscure forestry department or you're in a prison cell in a nice prison near a national park..
