If you're asking for a step by step guide you're in over your head. Are you comfortable pulling the dash? Do you have the tools to pull the transmission?

If there's a shop selling conversion kits daily, don't they have a step by step guide?

Not shitting on your thread. You come across as a younger guy with big dreams. Bragging about money doesn't get you respect, it makes you look silly.

So dive in and tear your car down, or take it in and have it done. Those are the only 2 choices.

And according to him a 1500$-2000$ DIY. A lot cheaper then trading.
About a wash if a shop did it, but with too many potential unknowns then I’d say trade in.
Also factor in the time/hassle for having to go through the process of trading in/buying. And the time/hassle of swapping over current mods.

So if he wants a MT and can DIY then go for it.
If it’s a “project car” then why have anyone else work on it and not DIY?

DIY or trade.
Well, according to him money is not an issue, and at 18 he "bought" his car so we all know that's code for mommy and daddy bought it. But who knows? Who cares?

To us normal folk the simple answer is to get a manual. But this guy is stubborn.
Hope it goes well it's "his" money "his" car after all. All we can do is point and laugh.

I was referring to your no guides and really expensive to do comments.

Second post in this thread is a link to a full detailed step by step DIY swap for under 2k$
