Not positive but I think the other gears get the 7800rpm redline. Probably has to do with the simple fact there was more power to be made past 7800rpm in second gear but not the others.

it is so you can get over 60MPH in only 1 shift. as was said, its for 0-60

Interesting, I was under the impression the old (tuned) 7800 limit already allowed for that.

Edit: Or is that why you made sure to say "over 60mph" ?

So are we clear to flash our cars now or are we still waiting on an all clear? I have been reading over the last 20 or so pages but I do not see a clear yes or no.

Thanks to @xjohnx and @Hawaiian for the PM and video help. Once JV gets the kinks in the e85 map tweaked I'll be going to the dyno!

I go to Richmond for work every other month or so - maybe I'll see you on the road xjohnx?

Recent Roms -> 1 -> Map Access -> Log to File.

****DATA LOGS*****
In ProECU, click on FILE -> Open Rom File and open your tune (RR-1xxxx)

With the car running and laptop connected to the car click on map access , once the numbers start moving click on log to file.

When done- click log to file, then map access again.

Datalog will be saved in c:\ecutek\map access logs

It can now be viewed, graphed, emailed, etc

Good to know, recommendation on which parameters to uncheck and what senarios to run a datalog ? For example, run datalog for how long ? Car stationary, 0 to 60 etc ?
I have no idea as I have never done one and I'm guessing most have no expereince in this area
