Thanks everyone for being friendly and inclusive
The back side up to Mt. Hamilton was the first time for me
Very beautiful and a perfect road for the twins
These cars LOVE to take corners!

Well said. It's hard to think you could have any more fun in anything else. Sure a Porsche or GTR could take these turns faster, but I doubt your grin would be any bigger in them. Higher grip or higher speeds just means more risk when you step over the limit...

Being a passenger on a road like that is tough... A+ for surviving that.

Not much planning, and terrible at that... Snowflake - closed. Junction Cafe - closed. At least the Observatory was open. And especially their bathrooms.

Agreed love the low stance ... But so conflicted. Wanna look good, but don't wanna scrape.

Man, sounds like fun! I'm kinda scared to do runs at the moment with this thing. Scared it'll swing out. Coming from AWD and grip for days, makes it scary. Maybe next time guys!

I had an evo viii a few cars before and took it to the same route. While the evo was forgiving, it was too effortless. yes, the rear of the 86 will swing, the traction will become a problem, the brakes will fade, but part of the fun is adjusting when the car starts to give warning to the driver come out next time and have some fun!

I think I might. But will take it easy, lol. Haven't even gone backroading at all with her yet.

Definitely take it easy the first few times. Drive at your own pace and what you're comfy with. Leave Traction control on, and only turn it off when you are ready. You can have plenty of fun with it on. Learn to drive well first, then learn to go fast 2nd.

There were definitely a few slippery corners out there... mud, leaves, pebbles, wet surface... it all makes your heart race a little. But these roads are what the car is made for.
