For sure, go to the dealer, the problem is not linked with your tint anyway...

Scratches on Outside of Driver's Window

My window, where they replaced the parts, started to cry when raining now... Do you have an idea why? Do you suggest to go back to the dealer?

Go back and try again or check with an another dealer.... They are wrong and they told me the same thing before replacing everything in the door...

I'm excited to see that Subaru Canada has the TSB out. I'll head to the dealer this week. I always see TSBs but usually don't get confirmation that its (a) Subaru, and (b) Canada.

Had both of my windows replaced under warranty due to the belt molds scratching them all to pieces. Dealer covered tint as well...probably due to the fact we were in progress of buying a new venza for the wife.

I got that trouble also after dealer installed new windows...

I know how to fix it like the dealer fix it for me in 5 minutes...

You just need to put some grease into the new rail.

Exempt for the driver side, If you remove the door trim, on the left side into the door you will see the rail, where a little wheel roll when you move the window up and down...add some grease on both rails, the upper and the lower...Problem fixed!

Do you have them? It should not be an issue with the updated weather stripping and guides

No but there is a small indentation (about 1-2 cm long but you can feel it with your finger) on the driver side glass. I already took it back to the dealer but of course they blamed it on me saying that happened after I took delivery of the car (only had 600 miles at the time). If you look at the location (middle of the glass, near the side mirror) and size of indentation, it looks more like a defect from the factory. It's extremely unlikely for someone or something to make contact with the glass to cause such a small indentation (not a bigger scratch or crack). I don't know whether I should fight it or let it go. Car is brand new and I've never experienced anything like this before even on much older cars.

Very possible it did happen by something hitting it. If it is that small I would not even worry about it. If it gets worse then take it back again otherwise it isn't hurting anything.
