2.0t starts at 3,294 lbs. Base
2.0t automatic is 3,362 lbs Base
3.8 V6 manual is 3,389 lbs Base
3.8 V6 auto is 3,397 lbs Base

Adding the Sports pkg(R-Spec) adds 40 lbs
Adding the Premium pkg with Nav adds 40 lbs

So basically a 3.8 track(R-Spec+Premium combine) adds 80 lbs to the base curb weight.

Again I have been following this car since it was under wraps just like the FR-S. Anything you guys don't know I am all ears.

@SUB: those numbers are from old models. You don't have to follow gc forum to get it, just get it at hyundai.com.

New GC official numbers at Hyundai.com
MT 2.0T 3362-3492lb
AT 2.0T 3424-3554lb
MT 3.8 3433-3563lb
AT 3.8 3483-3613lb

http://www.hyundaiusa.com/vehicles/f...fications.aspx

That makes perfect sense with the numbers that both the mags are publishing as well as stuff I've seen on forums.

Base V6 + the two packages + full tank of fuel = over 3500, and that's with the 2010 version.

Pretty much expected that the higher power 2012/2013 versions are going to weigh more. The brakes and cooling equipment were likely enlarged to deal with the extra heat generation that power and braking from faster speeds creates.

Pricing announced apparently.

$875 delivery and handling fee.
So this (2.0T R-spec) better be an upper bound on BRZ Limited.

That's still a lot of car for the money.

I don't know of any good output turbocharged, RWD sport coupes that is priced around 25k with dest. And I highly doubt there will be another one on the market at that price. The 2.0T R-spec is also not bad at $27,400

Its overpriced, I would buy a V6 mustang for less than $25k with the track package.

They can't release pricing because the car will not going to be on sale till late may early june. The Genesis coupes will be on sale in march. That is 3 months before the FR-S\BRZ. We will get the pricing when we are able to order the FR-S\BRZ. Two months before release date at the earliest.

So the FR-S is suuuuupeeeerrrrrrr overpriced then? This engine will be more tunable than the Mustang V6 for less money I bet. This car has a more refined interior than the stang and a up to date rear suspension. Did you know that the driveshaft on the stang can't handle past 120 mph? You get what you pay for.
