Having said that, I agree that HIDs tend to be a bit overpriced :P

Since there is a lot of discussion about HID headlights in this thread and there might be some confusion. The intec headlights are LED not HID. They are banking the idea on new technology. Some might know this already but just in case there are some wondering why they carry such a high price.

Thanks for the clarification!

@Max @ 86WORX said that they will be carrying them. No ETA was given.

I'm extremely interested in these, regardless of the price... Hopefully they're compatible with the FR-S, and are sold in the USA sometime soon.

Possibly. I've also found a site that appears to be selling them, link is here.

Although very much higher in cost, seems to be a legit website.

Here is the INTEC store link. If you convert the YEN into USD 86WORX is selling them for the asking price. They are just very expensive headlights. COPLUS INC. is the actual manufacturer. The left hand drive cars require a longer wait time for production. @Sazexa @ZOMFGAARON

As I was thinking that the first post says 'Eurospec' which made me think that these are probably set up for driving on the left side of the road in most cases, and would require adjustment or different design reflector for U.S. roads. I believe some of the WRX Bugeye replacement headlamps had to have new reflectors designed for use in the U.S.

No. left side drive and right side drive identifies on which side of the car the steering wheel is on. The stock headlights don't have reflectors. From the looks of it, neither do these or any others I've seen. @White64Goat

Yeah, I contacted them and they have an over-seas representative who speaks English. He said they are set up for RHD, and thought they physically fit the FR-S with no issue, I'd need to adjust for that. So, I guess I'll just wait for the North America model to release.
