Ahh, snow. I could use some of that right now. I hate summer.

Snow isn't too bad unless you dig right down.

They didn't even spray the heavy mud off first. Just broom in pail and scrub. He did the whole car in about 6 minutes. They are doing her black suv now and noticed the same scratches. He has concluded that the kids must have done something to both cars. Great entertainment and if he wasn't such a jerk I would tell him where the scratches are coming from.

Why do you park your car at your neighbors house?

Also, I've used sweeping brooms to clear snow off my cars for decades; it's a good tool for the job.

Make sure you drive a CVT before firming up that decision. Yes, they're incredibly efficient. To me, they feel awful... feels sooo strange to hear the engine stay at about the same rpm as the speed increases. Maybe it's all psycho-acoustic.. who knows.. but the engine just doesn't seem to be connected as directly to the wheels as it does in a manual or a recent-vintage AT. CVT is a great idea.. for everyone except folks who love to drive.

Full disclosure.. the only CVT I've driven is a Subaru Forester. I definitely didn't hate it; plenty of power, solid handling for a mini-ish SUV, comfortable enough. I stayed awake when I drove it.. that's saying something. On the other hand, I definitely won't be buying one.

@Sarlacc at home there are 5 vehicles and 4 spots. Park the car or the truck at my neighbours depending on what I'm driving. Wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for the fact that same broom sweeps the garage and the patio. But, whatever. I'll maybe fix it when I have time.
@MuseChaser don't care how it feels. Just over being an enthusiast.

The wife's new car with the CVT has artificial "shift points" built in where you would expect them. Even though I know they are not doing squat I feel much more comfortable than I did with her old one that didn't have them.
The paddle shifters on it work far better than her old one as well. Much faster response.

That's a natural part of getting older. Talk to your doctor; there are pills that can help you.
