That makes it Scion FR-S TRD ( Toyota Racing Department). I will get one with d-badge requested.
EDIT: It's hard for me to comprehend the TRD moniker on Scion RWD. They can just make SRD.

suspension testing is what your seeing there. they will run about close to 10+k miles on the ring in less than a month. in the process they will see and compare data recorded on fuji. one of the things you might see during testing in future photos will be different wheel and tire set ups. the car i was told if driven incorrectly has a tendency to snap oversteer, the suspension will be tuned to over but not to the point where the average driver won't be able to control it. they will test whether calibration or the need for a wider set up for the rear will help. that's where the rings multiple turns come in, the track is great for data gathering.
I lost all hope. I now believe we will be seeing the prototype become production.

I hope Five Axis releases a widebody kit to make the FT look like the FRS. I'm worried they won't though because look at the sick red tC in the Scion ads. Thats a 5 Axis kit, but it's a one-off.

Yup, that is usually how capitalism works; someone notices there is an interest/demand for something than they go ahead and try to fill in that demand. However, I wouldn't be surprised if 5Axis/another company charged mucho $$$$ for a FR-S knock-off fit based on how well people liked it. Probably would try to make as much money off of it as possible.

^ I don't know specifically what you meant about the TRD Supra widebody kit, but I am assuming it cost $$$ new? I just did a quick google and found it costs about $10k, is that right?

Please quote these posts? Never have I ever even cosidered the FRS a tuned version of the MK2.

this

equals to this

but this

does not equal to

If you think it does, the MK2 must be a "tuned" version of the MK1

MkII -> FR-S: do front bumper, front wide fender, hood, rear wide fenders, rear bumper and diffuser and there's FR-S.

+1

The Dezi MKII and the Five Axis FR-S are mockups from the test prototype (test mule). There isn't any "tuning" involved. It's more like Toyota provided an empty canvas n paint and then asked Dezi and Five Axis to see what they can come up with.
