And the other thing is the starter motor location is missing off the fb25. Everything else is identical.

How's the total width compared to the fa20?

Will the oil pan from the fa20 bolt on to the fb25 allowing it to sit as low in the chassis?

Get pics ASAP!!!

Check the coolant passages too between the head and the block, use the headgaskets to check.

Without getting into detail, there are 'issues' with it. It isn't like comparing EJ engines where it was basically bore and stroke changes within the same block.

Ok. So is it reasonably possible? Or is this off the able for most of us?

It wold be possible, sure...would I see it as something marketable, no. I'll hold off and see what the factory turbo engines offer before sinking into it.

Heck, people aren't even into playing with the available longer stroke crank (would make it a 2.1) nor playing with cylinder heads...hint hint

More stroke on this engine doesn't seem like a good idea to me, the stroke to rod ratio is already bad enough from what I understand. Do you feel the longer stroke would be a good idea? What do you see in the heads that can be improved upon? Are the FB heads better in some way?

We've had too many conflicting stories from people that have shown themselves to be untrust worthy. An educated opinion would be really nice. At this point there are just too many unanswered questions for me to even begin to know where I'd like to end up power wise. Hell, I don't even know if I want to stay NA or go FI yet.

Would you by any chance have a stock FA20 CFM number (@28" of water or other pressure reference) that could be shared?
