Come on vendors...this is the last good, cheap aesthetic mod that isn't available that could really sell well...

So if you take apart the FRS antenna, you get:

If you try to pull the antenna wire after you unscrew the circuit board, you'll notice that a copper sheath (the ground of the antenna coax) is soldered directly to the metal frame of the antenna base: (the metal tab with the purple or red ink is the tab you need to desolder off the board before you can have access to desolder the ground from the antenna base)

Heres a front view after desoldering the tab:

Once this tab is gone, you can desolder the ground copper sheath off the antenna base, pull back prongs that hold the antenna wire to the base, and slip the wiring through.

Next take apart the G37 antenna. The hardest part about disassembly is getting the metal base off the painted shell. I used a small plastic tab remover and worked my way around it prying from the pointed end of the antenna. take your time or you might snap a tab (which I did) and then you'll have to superglue the bad boy back to keep the antenna assembly from rattling.

Heres what it looks like disassembled:

Finally you can save or chuck the G37 antenna module, and then place the FRS one into the slot but you have to screw it down a different angle. But it fits!

Reassemble and fire up the radio! Enjoy!

Functionality is perfect once you ground the outer copper sheath to the G37 metallic frame.

My cars not completely clean, however... There's more metallic flake on the g37 antenna cover and definitely more reflective with light because of this... So it's it's a brighter white to sum it all up, not extremely noticeable.

Oh wow, I thought it wasn't a metallic white. I'm happy to hear it is. Should match more closely than flat white.

It's the oem pearl/metallic from Infiniti that I actually prefer over swp lol. I had a g37 coupe in it before.

Just finished my install... Question to the guys that have there's installed already...

Do you/did you have any gap between the front of the antenna and the roof? I'm worried about water coming past the front section of the seal.

Sorry Omar about the late reply. I see you already installed it, but does anyone else need me to re-up them?

As for me there are no seal issues. If you hand tightened the antenna nut you will get leakage. If anything you can smear some rvt grease or some other high temp grease on in the inside. Hope that helps.

The front of my seal definitely isn't seated flush to the chassis... Clueless as to why.

I installed mine today too. No issues with gap, but I tightened it down pretty good to be sure there was no gap. Man, this thing looks good. The white is only slightly more sparkly and it's unnoticeably different.
