Hey all, haven't visited in a while but I've made some changes lately... specifically, bought a set of TRD louvers that I wanted to share here before anywhere else.

I took a chance on these because you WILL NOT find any images online with these louvers on a 2.0 (until now, I guess). In fact, I defy you to find any. Anyway, I think it turned out handsomely. I couldn't have hoped for better; it compliments the 'black out' aesthetic I've been aiming for so perfectly.

Few pics from different angles here:

The other customizations you see on my derrière are the smoked Valentis, black matte Toyota badges and TRD exhaust.

I've had my RS2 for about six months and look forward to driving it every chance I get. Can't say I've felt that way about a car since my 67 Stingray twin top. One relatively minor issue I've noticed is that the temperature setting seems to be wildly inaccurate. In the summer I would have to set it around 62 or less for reasonably cool air and recently when some warming is required I have to keep it in the same area to not get roasted. I admit this is merely my mental comparison to settings in our 2014 Prius or 07 Rav4, both of which have digital climate control. It seems like my required setting in the FRS is around six or seven degrees lower for about the same temp.

My next step is to keep a digital thermometer in the car to get some hard numbers but just thought I'd ask if any other RS2 owners are experiencing the same issue. My thought is perhaps a faulty temp sensor somewhere.
Yesterday I took the time to check the climate control with a digital thermometer. On a fifty mile drive I set it at 62 and the cab temp stayed a consistent 72, a ten degree differential. I also checked it on our 2014 Prius and it stayed within one degree. In two weeks I'm taking the FRS in for it's first complimentary oil change at 7.5 months (I changed it myself around 1k miles). I emailed the service rep my test results and told him I would like it repaired during my visit. I'll post the results.

Has anyone else noticed the double sided tape holding the rear lip on the trunk is coming undone? Especially during hot FL days, the adhesive holding the rear lip looks like it's giving way. I considered taking it into the dealership.

Same. My car was shipped brand new from Texas but the lip is pealing. I'm replacing it with a TRD spoiler anyways.

Yes, just on the sides. It almost looks like they used a standard double side tape layout that the regular spoiler gets which does not touch the sides and then stuck a little piece in for our RS2.0 spoilers....I was able to carefully remove the existing double side tape and maneuver some new tape into place after loosening the spoiler mount nuts in the inside of the trunk, re-tightened after new tape was installed. This was the lazy fix, at some point I'll remove the spoiler and redo all of the double side tape or more likely, install the TRD spoiler

Yeah mine is peeling off. I told the dealership they said that they'll cover it and replace it with a brand new one.

Took the FRS to the dealer today and they confirmed that the climate control was about ten degrees off in calibration. They had never run into this problem before so they consulted with a toyota tech line that they have access to. All they had to do was use their scan tool and modify a setting. It still isn't perfect but on the way home it was about four degrees off. At my next free oil change I may have them tweak it a little more.

What's the condition on the lip? If you're willing to cover the shipping charge I have a basically new (car has 143 miles on it) 2.0 lip.
