carbon Wrapping

Hey guys,
I bought 1080 carbon vinyl to play around with.
One of my bug bears and hates, is the scratching of the door sill from shoes getting in and out of the car.

So I carbon wrapped the non leather portion. What you think?

Fitting carbon fibre Downforce lip kit this week, so it will match the sides.

Good plan, I have a narrow driveway so those scratches are a pain. Also I fear it won't be too long till the paint on the sills also shows some entrance/exit scars...

I have exactly the same problems. I did Exactly the same mod as Ryan86. Also covered the rear part of the same beading. Looks good and a 10 minute job.
I bought some vps type sticker sheet and tried to cover the door sills to prevent the scratches when entering... This is a much more difficult task and I need to redo it ... It is an art to install the clear so still need some practice.

$10 for 1m x 1.2m. This does not scratch unless by a sharp object. If it did get scratched or damaged, you simply pull off and apply new piece,.

Tried to cf wrap the fender vent but did not come out too well.
Found these on Rakuten for just under R1500. Anyone keen on them and share shipping costs?

Real carbon wrapping is very expensive here and yeah shipping to you and back wud cost over $100, so this part from www.rakuten.com is cheap enough...
