Oh I knew what you meant and I have indeed used almost those exact words during "discussions" with some of the noob engineers. I sometimes wonder if part of the curriculum is 'You are always right even when everything points to you not being 101'.

Yes, but at a higher, multi site, management level and have to deal with product, industrial and automotive engineers on a daily basis (their projects do not progress unless I sign off on them).
