I was just looking at the photos. I was fairly excited since I ordered a silver BRZ myself, however I couldn't help but notice all the pictures have the front plate was very messily photoshopped out. :/ Hardly seems marketing quality to pull a stunt like that.
I really hope USDM BRZ's get a plain front bumper with no built in plate mount like what is on the Outbacks. |

RYE_3922.jpg by Ryephile, on Flickr Front plate mounts will likely be thrown in the trunk at the port of entry, and then it's up to the dealer to screw them in with reckless abandon.

April 6-15 are the public days at the NYIAS. Press days are today and tomorrow. Subaru is already dragging it by not having their press release today.

Shows like this usually open a couple days earlier for the industry and press. So we might still see the price tomorrow. We shall see.

After test driving the BRZ available at our local Subaru dealer today, I talked with the SOA rep that had brought it and he confirmed the price would be released some time tomorrow (Thursday). He actually went to check on their interal company website to confirm this since I told him there were rumors of Subaru revealing the price at the NY Auto Show and he originally thought it would be another few weeks.

Today and tomorrow are press/dealer days. I also have a feeling the Scion pricing is going to dictate where they price the BRZ, unfortunately.

Just saw the BRZ in person today and talked to the salesman there. Two of them oddly agreed on a 26k-27k for the prem and 30k-31k for the lim. I hate to say it but with how cheap the cloth (if you can call it that) felt, I can see a 2k difference just in the seats. It was like some nasty mesh. Hopefully they are just guessing and not hearing rumors from above.
