Lol I meant for the guys storing their cars during winter - I don't recommend using a cover outside :shakeshead:

Trust me, the tune changes quick when you have to park under a tree and birds decide to roost there every night. Dustcover > Covered in bird crap when it comes to damaging the soft paint Scion used.

Speaking of which, I'm thinking about getting her painted this summer,
recommend any good places that aren't just plastidip?

New paint job needed already? Is it that bad? Probably paint correction can rescue it, then OptiCoat it. Save yourself thousands and way less headaches.

Unless what you're looking to do is a colour change.

Looking at colour change tbh. I was never a huge fan of any of the default colours, and due to not being able to wait for a car to be shift my choice was further limited by the cars on the lot when I got mine. Silly work wouldn't let me take time off while I waited for the right colour

I'm pretty happy with Ultramarine, but I think if "Ultramagreen" was a real colour choice, I would have gone with that instead.

That said, Raven is hardly a bad choice, especially on a twin.

Great choice until you're trying to keep it clean :p

The LC 500 is beautiful for sure. Andre and I were talking about it today and came to the conclusion that the rear end looks very similar to the FT1. Could this possibly be the FT1 with a lexus badge? The LC 500 will for sure be in the same ball park as the RC=F

The rear is right off the FT1 for sure. first thing I noticed.
This is an all new platform, so maybe the first step towards to FT1? where they would share general chassis but drop from a monster V8 with tons of luxury to a V6 and less bells and whistles.... fingers crossed.

GoKarting!

I'm looking to organize the FT86 Club Ottawa chapter karting event and looking for some feedback.

The last few times we went, it was on a Friday or Saturday night, which are the busiest nights of the week for them. This also adds to potential delays (like last time) and costs a bit more for those days.

Prices shown for a 10 lap qualy plus a 70-lap race.
(according to here: http://topkarting.com/plan-your-events/)
  • Friday or Saturday? $52
  • Sunday afternoon or evening? $47
  • Mon-Thu evening? $47

I'm thinking the first week of February, so likely Feb.4-7.

Cheers,

Andre

Karting

I'm in.
Sunday afternoon or evening Feb 7 sounds good.
But I'll go with the majority - a few extra bucks isn't a factor to me.
Long wait times and poor schedule management bugs me though.
