That's correct, they are -10 fittings on the thermostat. Also keep in mind that if there is some oil on the threads when the fittings are tightened down, then some oil will weep out the hole on the fitting shortly after install. But if oil is still weeping out after wiping it off, then that could mean that there's a problem with the fitting either not being tight enough, or damage to the fitting.

Thanks! It's pretty steadily seeping oil. Pretty sure cause is damage to the female cone face due to over torquing.

Yes the metal from the threads on the core need to be picked out of the threads on the line. I am certain I'll need a M22x1.50 tap for the core. If i can't get a bottoming tap I'll just cut the one I'll get. A snap on rep is gonna try to help. Plus my intercooler sits too far forward and I'm having to use the same hole for both top and bottom screws.

Is the spacer supposed to have 1 O-Ring or two? I see two grooves but only 1 O-Ring (I probably lost it if there were two).

When the kit first came out, it had one thick O ring, then a few months later we started using 2 smaller O rings instead. If you need a new O ring, send me a PM for more info, thanks!

Huge shout out to @PERRIN_Chris for helping me replace the parts I screwed up. Very good customer service! So if anybody has issues, I highly recommend getting a hold of them. They are very reasonable.

Hi guys!

I just ordered my perrin oil cooler and would like to ask, how do you hook up an analog oil temp sensor? Would like to install an analog defi gauge to monitor temperature and pressure after installing the oil cooler.

Thanks for your order! If you'd like to add temp and pressure sensors, I'd use a brass Tee off the stock sensor ports. They are located on the front of the engine under the oil filter. That would be the easiest solution, thanks!

Using the Mishimoto sandwich plate that has the 2 spots for the sensors.

Thanks! Does anyone have a picture of the location of the stock sensor ports?

Won't that replace the Perrin sandwich plate?

Yes it will. But upon installation, the freaking unions won't fit on the Mishimoto sandwich plate. Terrorism I tell you! LMAO!

@PERRIN_Chris

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can you elaborate more on this method? Thanks
