Any news on this? I read that amplified microphone signal is too loud and voice is clipping.
Is this right? |

No update yet. I bought some ground loop isolators and I will try to experiment soon. However its not looking good haha. Seems like the best thing to do is wire an aftermarket mic that came with the new HU and strategically place it somewhere close.

I managed to have a very good result, using HU mic, putting it under stock grille and crating a cone to insulate it from noise, but not closing side mic holes. Result is perfect and OEM looking.
