This is the rare 4th state of water known as hell-snow; it immobilizes your vehicle, causes back pain, and even death in some cases.

I left mine buried this morning and took a less attractive vehicle to work.

Snow tires my friend. Though, with snow that deep, I wouldn't have even bothered. We only got like 3-4 inches, and it was raining this morning. I was able to pick the snow off my car in chunks to prevent scratches. And my 8 commute on a state road was basically water this morning. No salt or anything that I could see/hear.

Also, I'm jealous of you guys that live in the south. I hate snow. Someday I'll move south. Someday.

I haven't bought snow tires for my car yet and we got our first good bit of snow here yesterday. Getting to work was easy because it was just raining when I left my house. Then it snowed all day. Getting home was easy too though because all the roads were plowed and clear for the most part. Barely managed to get in my driveway because my brother didn't shovel it <_<. The hardest part about both trips was the driveway.

Yep, that's why we left the suburbs of Detroit back in 1976. At one time we had a Corvette and a VW bug sharing our two car garage and on heavy snow days I'd have to start up my wife's bug and make several passes up and down the driveway to cut a path so I could get my Vette out of the garage. We don't do that any more!!

LMAO that snow is practically touching the bottom of the car. I got stuck trying to get my car in the driveway with about 2 inches of snow on the ground 'cause of the incline.

It snowed in DF/W for Christmas.... needless to say it was worse on Facebook than Dec. 21st with the posts about snow and the idiots driving in it.

Still didn't see a single snowflake in Austin.

Snow tires won't save you from accumulated snowfall that can get you high of center. Hell, that'll stop any car. Including my WRX a few winters ago...on my driveway.
