if you have the older STI flex strut bar, those looks like the same bolt holding the bar near strut base on both side.

No STI flex strut bar either so that's out.

I think I'm liking the bicycle theory more and more. I was just worried it was something important from my car. I'm still going to verify it with the bike dude down the street...if he still has it.
