Or an order could get cancelled and make one available tomorrow!

Placed an order on 01/13. Scheduled end of March. FYI your allocation # last digit should be the month you will get the car. Truecar price has dropped $800 since my son ordered his BRZ PP.

Perrin 2.5" catback and Helix clear side markers going on tonight!

Does anyone have a first song planned for their car?
Took me days to even turn the radio on. Once you get that exhaust swapped you will forget about music and simple play the song of our people!

Last six digits are ***03 ... so you're saying ... MARCH?!

*Mind Blown*

Actually mid-late March, early April would be fantastic as I don't feel like fitting on a set of snow tires. Gives me some more time to be a hooligan with my Speed3.

The order to delivery timeline isn't something that makes sense. I ordered mine at the end of November and my ETA is still late March.

The allocation number is just a six digit number separate from VON or other numbers. I don't think that's it.

Makes sense to somebody. It isn't really a first come first serve system.

I have found no official info on these allocation numbers. I have not been able to confirm nor deny if they are coded in some way. We don't have a large enough sample size to be able to see if there is a pattern.

I remember even signing up to the forums that you've been suggesting your car was some sort of 'phantom black zone' and it's been hilarious (at your expense) to see you anticipate and wait not-so-patiently. But you're likely right, and we're in this same 'waiting game' boat together.

Seriously though, these boards have been super friendly and super informative so Thank You for that!

Not sure what dealership he works at, but I know they are getting 2 Series Yellows at Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek CA. One of them is mine, and is scheduled to arrive on February 6th. I will post if the date changes.

The allocation # is 6 digits. FWIW my son's (derekbrz24) allocation # ended in 1 and he received his car in January as scheduled. Mine ends in 3 and the schedule says end of March. I asked my salesperson and he said it does correspond to the month of delivery.

Well that is the best info yet. Sample size of two isn't a pattern but also could be more than coincidence. The rest of the numbers must mean something as well. Ship date? Destination port? Shipping method (rail/truck)? Holding yard? Dealer code? HMMMM now I am even more curious.

What a Romantic! I didn't even think about a first song, but The Distance by Cake is the first song that came to my mind. I hope the wife doesn't get jealous!
