The available pulleys that Harrop sells are 65mm to 95mm in 5mm increments. The kit comes with a 95mm pulley but I believe Harrop will fit any of the available pulleys on your kit before it ships at no additional charge. I requested my kit be fitted with the 90mm pulley, but now I'm running the 65mm pulley with a built engine. According to a recent video from Harrop, the 95mm pulley peaks at 8.7 psi and the 65mm pulley peaks at 16 psi, so each 5mm increment adds a little over 1.2 psi.

What better reason than to take a road trip and hang out with cool people who want to show off their cars? That's a cheap investment/vacation for learning what you want to spend thousands of dollars on. You're lucky you're so close to CSG and huge car groups.

I actually reckon he should do the Jackson racing kit. (Because I said so)

Similar dyno numbers for significantly less money - I would do that and spend the rest on other improvements.

Because the harrop is right at the limit of my budget I havnt been able to do the exhaust and tyres at the same time.....

Once I found out the price I changed my mind ha ha. I suggested he buy it and just resell it if it doesn't fit his needs.

Is there anything that actually shows the tvs kits are making more low end power than the rotrex kits? I thought I saw a comparison between them a while ago, and they made almost exactly the same curve.

Exactly, with the price of the Jackson kit I would also be able to afford some Bilstein b16s I have been eyeing.

Still debating this idea.

There is a dyno comparison here at post #262 with the Edelbrock and Jackson. You can clearly see the TVS kit making 10-15 more torque in the lower range between 3-5000 and the Jackson making 10-15 more in the upper range after 6000.

More likely than not I am choosing the... Harrop!

Edelbrock. Its intercooler hoses are placed nicer and it looks a little cleaner. Plus I have never seen the Harrop cheaper. TVS base unit with both so you can't go wrong.

Logically the Edelbrock makes more sense because it is marginally cheaper by a few hundred, but it is just is not visually appealing to me. If I'm forking over the dough I want to be happy with the whole package.

Sure, obviously. I can't stand the harrop hoses coming off the front of the left side though and seemingly zip tied out of the way. The edelbrock looks cleaner to me, personally.

Haha that funny cuz I like the hoses like that! I just don't care for the blower housing on the Edelbrock. Doesn't work with any thing else in the engine bay.

Because of the red lettering? Either way you can't go wrong. I thought harrop with a tuner was like 1400 more than edelbrock with a tuner.

If you got them without tuners I still thought it was quite a price difference. Maybe that's changed with more of them being made / shipped and current rates.
