Is there anyone who is in contact with Car-Fi able to ask what their plans are?

How'd you go with fitting yours? Did you need to re-drill anything or did it all just work?

Did you try restarting? Or clearing the app cache and data? Hell even a factory reset at the absolute worse would fix that. That has very rarely happened to me and pretty much a simple restart fixed it.... No need to ask Ca-Fi support.

To be honest, Android Auto probably has no real relevance to this unit, since it requires a connection to your phone and uses your phone's apps, not unlike Pioneer's Appradio. Really, what would be more useful is if this unit were kept updated to the latest android version (L). Maybe then, Ca-Fi could enable, or via root we, could enable apps to run in their auto mode, but who knows at this point.

I'm also having the car home crash for me as well. I also now have an issue where the screen only works with using multiple fingers to select something. This all started last night and nothing was out of the ordinary other then the headunit not automatically turning on but sitting on the android screen for a good 12 seconds.

I did all that. I even force stopped all the applications, and we double checked when we re-wired the entire unit. It's like the build is unstable or something. Still crashing.

Our was fine on day one, but now it only crashes. Have you emailed Cafi support yet?

First step is restarting unit. Clearing caches may help but factory reset is next step

We've restored to the factory setting at least twice now. It hasn't helped.

My unit started crashing today. Car home will not load. It doesn't recognize my usb drive any longer.

Two days ago - I installed a cat 10 MicroSD and installed Co-Pilot Premium.

The unit is unusable as is.

None that we can see. The CaFi website is sort of sparse.

Hmm. Good to know mine isn't the only one.
