If I could do it all over again, I would. This kit is so incognito, I love it. Sent from my SM-G9600 using Tapatalk |

Keep in mind this thread serves as a place those with issues can reach out for help troubleshooting. Those of us who have had the kit working well for years aren't making daily posts about everything running well even though that's often the case with Edelbrock cars imo. |

Still worth it to me, as long as I can decently drive it, but no OEM would ever release a car that runs like it does now. The performance improvement is huge. Most likely the issues a few of us have are related but just limited to a small number of people. If you happen to be one of those people though, it does suck a bit. I'd buy it again though. |

Thanks people. Allayed my worries a bit. I'll be having a well-known professional shop doing the install and dyno-tuned by a pretty well-known tuner as well, so hopes are high that things will go well.

I am saddened that I will be leaving this wonderful community. It has been a wild ride, but how I have enjoyed it. Everyone here has been a credit to the community and has helped us all love the 86 platform and what it is.
The reason I am leaving is that I will be moving up to a Porsche Cayman S, which shares so many similarities with the 86 and is another world class driver's car. For those in the market, look out for my posting in the classifieds. If you're looking for a 1-owner, no accident, well cared for BRZ with a Delicious tune and Edelbrock supercharger, I may have what you need. Thank you all for your contributions and advice...it has been very much appreciated.

Now the 2 remaining issues I have on my AT are: 1) While idling in gear, sometimes the engine accelerates itself and pulls up to 10 mph in first at near 2000 rpm. 2) While stopped in gear (like at a stoplight), timing is being pulled, sometimes retarded to -2.5 deg. It appears to correlate with an elevated MAP pressure (@ ~0.43 bar, ~0.27 bar while in neutral/park). Vacuum is less (~-8 psi vs ~-11 psi in neutral/park). |

Gas only pulls from one side of tank
Anyone else having issues with gas only being pulled from one side of the gas tank? I installed a new DW 700C fuel pump (FP) for my DT FI E85 setup after the last one ate itself. I also switched to a new job with a much longer commute and noticed that the gas levels vs fill up is wrong (my previous commute was 10 minutes and I suspect I have had this problem since the beginning but I just filled up enough not to notice it). I confirmed visually last night that the FP hanger is only pulling from the drivers side of the saddle tank and the fuel level seem to only be reading from that side as well (why does this thing need two fuel level sensors if the passenger side one doesn't seem to do anything...).
I looked at a full Radium kit but I really don't want to go that far if I can avoid it. Though their web site does seem to mention a high flow FP can cause back pressure issues in the cross over so am I facing an engineering issue or a broken part problem. All the components on both sides visually look fine and there is no blockage in the hose to the FP hanger. Short of a full replacement anyone have any ideas or experienced the same problem with this setup? |

Got my FR-S last month and planning to get this kit eventually. Focused on supporting mods for now. I see from OP that the kit is compatible with the JR radiator/oil cooler combo, but it doesn't mention the Skunk2 unit. That unit is much cheaper ($500 vs $900) but seems to perform very well from what I've read. I would much prefer to get the Skunk2, and I assume if the JR fits the Skunk2 would also fit since the dimensions appear to be similar. Anyone know for sure?

Didn't realize that. Thank you, knowing that makes for a much easier choice.
I'd "thank" you formally, but I don't think my account can do that until I post a bit more. |

There is a part number on that sheet for it. Just call Edelbrock to order it and give them the part number.
