Nice. Mine is AT so nothing major to swap yet. I may have an axle going out and my brake calipers probably would appreciate a refresh but other then that been fine. And I attribute those more to the car being driven hard then the miles.

That is the big variable. Mine has loads and loads of miles but 98% of them are on the highway with cruise control. I bet I get 300K out of the pads and rotors at the rate they are wearing right now. They probably have about 10K miles of actual use on them.

Wasn't sure if that was also the case for the rear. Was it when you turned the wheel or even going straight? |

If you feel vibrations then the wheel bearing is toasted. Mine started with horrible haul

Who is over 100,000 miles?
My TOB started going bad at 5k miles and at 13k 3th gear started grinding sometimes. I doubt this car would make it to 60k let along 100k.

I drove $500 junkers for almost 20 years. I know the sound better than most.

My TOB lasted 80K. There are loads of the cars lasting well over 100K. Did you not read anything here?

A friend of mine is a cancer research physician, and fairly prominent in his field. He is fond of telling me how frequently, when performing an autopsy, they find three or four things in addition to cancer that were all there lurking inside ready to kill off that person. His opinion was that we're all walking time bombs, and that not knowing about it helps us live a LOT longer. Pretty applicable to our valve springs.
