After a few hours of practice we could do a top ten shootout style... out lap, past the post on the gas and a cool off on the way in... we used it at WP on our last race meet for 2012.. looked great and a good way to see times and styles .. Given that people will be 1.09 to 1.14 in lap times it should flow well.. just a thought

Depending on numbers it is possible to get an 86 session during the speed off the street days... if we had a date I could chat with Matthew who runs the circuit..

The NSW 86/BRZ Car Club is just waiting on CAMS affiliation to be approved then we'll start planning our calendar for 2013 and hopefully run a couple of our own events.
Join the Facebook Group to keep in the loop.

Can't wait to see your car. Do you have a build thread?

Good stuff Josh, I had no idea that one was being formed.. I am afraid I don't have Facebook... it's a work thing and frowned upon.. might have to get someone to keep me in the loop. I am happy to help out however I can..

As for the build thread.. trying to keep a lid on it all until I get the major sponsor on board.. then I will get it out there.. likely to be half chrome

First official race will be Bathurst 31 March for the enduro in the new Bathurst Festival of Speed... we have 42 cars confirmed on the grid. I will be putting up a thread in the coming days looking for a new crew to contest the Production car championship with... it would be nice to have a crew that are passionate about the 86 ... which is the number I have secured for the season

I will post full pics soon on my website ..

i will be there probably around 8.30, forecasting quite a bit of rain though for the day. I hope they put all the 86/BRZs in the same group

Smile Who did the 1:10.9 lap in a BRZ

I think it was in a passenger session.

My White BRZ has only 600 ks on it. I will track christen the car
this Sunday at Marulan Driver Training Centre track.

Anyone keen on joining in.

MDTC is better suited to underpowered cars like ours.

Would've liked to have been grouped with you guys. I was in group B and completely unfamiliar with my car. I was always amongst traffic, looking in mirrors, and the first full lap I was happy with was in a passenger session just before the rain. I was so rusty I didn't get turn 2 right until that session. What mods were you running surok? We were all within 4/10s, the BRZ/86/Clio.

What I really need now is another crack at it. There's another second in my car compared to that Natsoft 1.15.6XX just from me blowing out the cobwebs.
