TRD Japan does great stuff. Their SUS kit suspension packages are very well balanced. Expensive, yes... no doubt. You do get what you pay for.
I hope you are right...

I'd be more optimistic if I heard something about good tuning options being likely to be available... so far DI sounds fairly tuner friendly. Of course that will eventually change, but for now...

Oh well, every day new "leaks", so maybe I'll see a park bench and a blower mentioned sooner than I think.

I think I'm just bummed because that looks an awful lot like the options that were made available for the last gen Celica... minus a S/C kit for the GT version.

I ordered a lot of stuff from TRD back in the day, my Kazuma exhaust, rear strut tower bar, short shifter, i believe the fuel door was a toyota motorsports item (a $300 fuel door, i'm crazy). All pricey, all in Japanese instructions, but well made.
Both the automatic and the manual are being made by Aisin, the manual will most likely be a standard AY6, I don't see them designing a new trans for this car.

Looks like a good selection, but nothing outragous. If they are going to be allowed under warranty, it unfortunately might be my only choice. I want to track the car but I don't want to kill the warranty, crazy as that seems!

Listen, guys.

TRD will never give you a turbo kit. Super charge kit may will avaliable in USDM. However, don't give a hope for it.

What I'm thinking is an after market turbo kit. Maybe a custom turbo kit.

Also, for suspention and exhaust, aftermarket one will cheaper and better for sure. Some dealer will let you keep your warranty if you only swap your cat-back and panel fillter!

NICE!
love the spoiler.
not sure about the "coilovers" since i agree there will be better 3rd party products for cheaper.
im interested in the door striker "spacer". i want to see one so i could just go to lowe's and buy a washer. lol

i would consider the seats though. remember how bananas people when over the TRD seats in Tsuchiya's ae86? mmmhmmmm...

so it hink for me i would just get the
spoiler
seats
braces/bars (depending on price/design of 3rd party units)
lighting?

that quad exhaust looks like the side of a pirate ship ready to fire a barage of canon balls. just too much. i'd rather keep the stock setup and install a QTP electronic cutout just after the cat(s). ; )
i would like to see some headers though.

i like all of the parts they are making available already though. would it be safe to assume all if not more will be available on the US Scion version?
will be interesting to see. i wouldnt doubt all of this stuff could put it in the mid $30k range when the entire catalogue is fitted by the dealer.
yowza. yeah, maybe i'll just take the spoiler for now lol

They ran in an unrestricted class IIRC. I don't know what rules they use for such classes over there though.

They have strongly stated many many times that there won't be a turbo. Personally I think I'll like the car more without one anyways.
