Bridgestones here as well. I understand why dealers up north put them on, but if they are just putting them on every car that gets shipped here over winter that kinda sucks. In other news I don't hate the Bridgestone tires as much as I thought I would, wasn't really expecting to be blown away by either dealer choice.

yeah i think thats how they are doing it. Dealers in the north get bridgestone all seasons for winter, and southern states get michelin. I may be totally wrong but that seems to be the trend.

Mine came with michelin HPs, but yesterday I swapped them out for michelin pilot super sports. What a difference!

I was complaining at first about how the frs handled the blizzard we had here in Iowa with the Bridgestone tires then realized I was just spoiled from my Subaru awd for the last 6 years...

@Pete your avatar cracks me up every time I see it.

Mine came with Michelin HPs. It made me a little nervous to have these tires in Florida, where we are known to get tsunami like rain out of the blue. So far, on the highway they have performed well granted I slowed down and stayed in lower gears. However, this rain storm only lasted for about 5 minutes....the real test will be in the summer when passing rainstorms can last for hours and dump several gallons of water on the road in seconds.

Primacy HP here in Vancouver, it rains like everyday except for the summer periord and the Primacy perform fine. Currently running General Altimax for winter and in the two days it snowed i felt they were good value for the money, didn't really lose control (bare in mind that there wasn't THAT much snow).
