Don't worry, the turbo kit will continue with or without me here! I'll post updates as much as I can, and hopefully soon there will be a more detailed thread on the kit.

If you drive the car into a river or lake!
Seriously, though, I don't think there will be a problem with water getting into the intake. I think it's mounted high enough to alleviate water ingestion. However, I'm not an expert on them, it's just my opinion. |

That would actually be pretty cool. You could do a true dual exhaust with a small turbo on each side. Not sure how practical it would be on a 4 cyl., but would definitely be something different. I was looking at doing a twin turbo setup on my Pontiac G8 GT, but never got around to it.

Quote:
For small engines (4 banger in this case) it is of course better to use a single turbo, because it produces sufficient exhaust gas just that one turbo efficiently. For larger engines, it is usually smarter to use a pair of small turbochargers instead of a big one, because small turbines result in less turbo lag. But they are able to produce enough exhaust gas to power both turbos.

It looks great but the heat soak off that turbo location by the intake pipe would concern me in any racing application. Prolly fine for a daily driver.

At least through the test pipe (cat). They're thinking of doing a complete exhaust as well.
