Why do we care? You ask.

Because i have made two attempts to buy them from two different ebay sellers. Both purchases were allowed to complete only to be canceled within 24 hours. The first said they had just sold out. The second said that Eibach had recalled them and he is expecting the "redone" replacement springs in a couple weeks.

Has anyone else heard about the recall? I googled but found nothing.

edit: Also - sorry for reviving an old post.
You can get them here problem solved. As far as the recall i havent heard about it. Even if you get the older model springs you'll be fine as there are many members on here using them without any issues.

Hi everyone! I read so much about eibach pro kit but could not find a conclusion about whether can I use this with the stock equipment (just by putting on what is in the box) or not? I wanna stay stock and keep the car healty as possible.. and my other question is did they fix the problem that front get less lowered than back in the new series? Thanks!

Does anyone know what are the spring rates of the 17 BRZ Performance Package springs?

My son has a 2019 GT86 TRD, tried lowering springs but the front didn't lower and feels like a rock, I think the struts have bottomed out with the TRD Sachs Struts. Looking for an inexpensive set of lowering coilovers, any suggestions? BC Racing seems top notch but pricey.

I wouldn't go any cheaper than BC monotubes, $1k is really your entry point for changing springs and dampers for any car these days, even if you're looking at lowering springs plus quality dampers from Koni or Bilstein it will approach that price point. For full coilover replacement Bilstein B14, ST, and Tein are decent alternatives. Tein and BC will allow lower ride heights without bottoming than Bilstein or ST (budget branded KW) due to their designs, I believe the Germans ride better at higher ride heights than the budget Asian coilovers but are worse at lower ride heights.

BC Racing is on the low end of the spectrum for coilovers.

Do you have a picture of the car? Are you sure the springs were installed correctly?

We double and triple checked the install, had a mechanic check also. I think the TRD struts have a shorter travel length than stock struts, my guess is they are completely compressed.

I have Motion Control System (MCS) 2 ways on my FRS. I did not see them listed. What info do you need to add them to the list?

Hello! Quick question about camber bolts. There are camber bolts from whiteline 16mm, 40€ in my area.

But here are also 14mm camber bolts costing 12€. These are used in the bottom hole instead of the upper 16mm hole.

Is there any disadvantage in using this cheaper ones? I read something about using the 14mm camber bolts in bottom, and relocate the original 14mm normal bolt to upper hole. Is it actually safe?

Safe & commonly done enough, if you don't use much top bolt for adjustment, just leave in "maxed out" position, where car weight on wheel rests on it, adjusting only with lower bolt. From what i've heard, max camber is slightly less though with lower 14mm camberbolt + relocated bottom 14mm OE crashbolt to top 16mm hole, vs max camber of lobed camberbolts (14+16) in both, something like upto -2 vs -2.3. As camberbolts are cheap enough, and if goal is to max out camber reachable with them, then i wouldn't try to save that laughable $ amount. From what i've heard, one shouldn't use lobed camberbolts, only if aftermarket coilovers/struts have slotted hole.

Ok thank you!

What do you mean by maxed out position? I assume that If I put the 14mm OEM bolt in the top hole, it will have a clearance, isnt it?

So how is that one can adjust its position?

maxed out .. as in there is adjustment simply due 14mm bolt (often referred for such use as "crash bolt", as in bolt used to adjust alignment after serious damage to suspension, but in general, simply normal bolt used in place of larger bolt) being smaller then holes in strut and wheel hub meant for 16mm, thus that mount has some play within which it can be moved with untightened bolt .. so maxed out - simply wheel skewed with bolt furthest to one side within that play.
Precise alignment adjustment with just crash bolt might be a bit PITA, as "adjusting" means unbolting it, moving wheel just the right amount, retightening it, so simpler to use it just at maxed out position, as extra to overall wheel camber, car weight leaned on it should keep it there, just tighen, fine adjusting by turning lobed camberbolt in other hole.
