It's reasonable to expect the fog light functionality since its in the product name.

Indeed.
However, I am guessing the strip of white LEDs will act more like a DRL rather than actually working as a fog light during a fog.
For my case, I don't care for the white LEDs but the indicators MUST work. If the fog lights were that crucial, it would have come as standard on the twins.

Nothing is really "crucial", point is - make a product with the functionality in the device, it better function.

Design aspect I don't know if it's going to perform as well as stated, even in the design phase.

If you're just looking for a hole that looks nice, there wouldn't be a need for the LEDs -- just build a vent that will mount correctly and you're done. (might as well get the fog light bezels from japan and call it a day.)

Not harping, just putting my point out there and i'm pretty critical when it comes to products and what they do -- plus I think I have a right to state what I am thinking about since put it out there for us to respond to. It's not like i'm flaming him or something.

I already have the fog light bezels since mine is the Aus GTS but we have no fog in the last 20 years that I am aware of, and the cops will pulls us over for running them so a waste of space...

Yes I want a big designed hole for oil/brake cooling but again MUST have indicators since having the vent itself would remove the indicators, so yeah they are "crucial"

any news on this yet? i'd like to see video of it in real life if possible. and any further ideas of price would be nice.

also even if it doesn't work that great as a turn signal then we could still mod the side markers to be them since that's how they are in japan anyway yeah? maybe even better if they are both turn signals??

I am retracting my statement from nearly 4 months ago.
JDM headlights with indicators integrated will be coming to market, I no longer need the indicator in the vent.

Hope there will be a version of the vent with no LEDs for a reasonable price.

Q&A ml24

I sent an email to ml24; and below is the reply.

1. Price? The estimated price of the product will be MSRP $400 USD.

2. Do you ship to an APO (I'm overseas)? We ship via UPS, so yes that should be possible.

3. Will you guys sell the ducting hardware? We are currently engineering the ducting hardware, it may be an optional accessory in the future.

4. What color is the turning signal strip of LED? There are 2 strips of LED on each vent, 1 is a bright white (blue-ish), and 1 is amber for indicating and turn signal.

5. You guys have pictures/video of the final product? We do not have any pictures or videos of the final product yet.
