The reason is in my post above, and yours.. his sponsorship expired and he continued to advertise according to the ban message... hence he was banned again.


Admins (not mods) are the ones who ban those users as it's usually a mistake that it lapsed so none of the mods ban those users. In both of James' bans it was an admin, not a mod.

If you report them they would get banned also. No one here seeks this out, instead vendors usually report those non-vendors who are selling stuff. They pay to use this site for marketing/sales, so yes, non-vendors who sell services will continue to be banned when they become known. This really isn't rocket science. This site does actually cost money to run and the vendors basically pay for that.


No on is stopping the users here from finding/starting a new site, it's happened in basically every other car group I've ever been involved with and I'm sure it'll happen here eventually.

I locked it because you called the owner of the site a piece of shit. You said it, I didn't. So yes, it is your fault that the thread is locked. If the site owner ever notices it the thread will be gone instead of just locked, as will your current account.

Lexus wasn't banned for the FA20club stuff really (he only sorta was because we had an agreement that he would stop talking about it - if others agreed to stop bringing his name up. Others on here didn't stop, and neither did he, so it was just a minor part of it). He was banned for the same reason James was, selling and offering discounts on new parts without being a vendor. If he does it with the lexus account (instead of the new one he's using on here) when he returns it will get a perm ban, just like James.


Supporting a shitty vendor that you've had good experiences with isn't a rule violation. Perhaps you missed where I said we enforce the rules? I can't protect the stupid from themselves. If they want to follow whatever Lexus says against the overwhelming majority of negative reviews on Toni then that is their problem. I'll speak up on the threads on the shit products Toni has made, but I won't ban lexus for that reason alone.


Review threads existed for FA20Club. I never deleted ANY except upon request of the OP (FRS300 in this case). No one deleted negative reviews of FA20Club.


The James thread should have been DELETED because of what it ended up being. I locked it instead to LEAVE the comments about his work there. Again, if the site admin sees the crying in that thread it will be deleted instead.


So here's a new rule for this thread because I'm sick of any conversation about Lexusb3. Anyone who mentions him in this thread after this post will be permbanned.

I've already discussed this aspect before, but for another time (I doubt that last time).. I've had 3 paying sponsors removed, their fees refunded and their accounts banned. The fact that they are a vendor doesn't protect them at all.

Every time I read one of these threads, I hear this:

"Waaaahhhh, someone broke my motor!", he said.

It is not that I am not sympathetic but, come on, if you are greedy and push engines that were never meant to be FI then what do you expect will happen. They will all "BOOM" eventually. Then you rebuild them and do it all again. Or if you are smart you go FI then realize that it ain't all that and sell the car before it "BOOMS" on you.
