You know I have a pair of the trd garnishes I just don't know if I can justify how odd ball they look.

DIY Dual Tips

I did these without cutting my rear body work. Not as good as cutting the bar but less work.

so did you cut the inside OEM diffuser and stuck that "quad" cover? Where did you buy the cover? I'm considering purchasing the APR rear diffuser CF cover, and some how try to do a quad exhaust tip. I really don't want to get a TRD kit for the rear since my car is a BRZ. The J2 doesn't look bad but a little puny, trying to fit in the OEM holes.

As for the quad tip, won't it be easier to have it welded at a muffle shop, just the tips? It looks like all the Quad exhausts are over priced other than the J2.

For the best OEM fit, get the TRD rear garnishes from Nigeljdm or another vendor like Jason@DSG or eBay. You use the supplied outline to cut the rear diffuser which the TRD garnish then fit over.

A less expensive quad exhaust option is the touge factory Axelback for $500 but any others after that will be pricey.

Does anyone know the length between the inner edges of the TRD quad exhaust garnishes? I'm about to order them, but am also looking into the size tips i'd need to get. I think i've seen 2x90mm somewhere and there was still gap left. So i'm thinking 2x100mm or more (like the blitz quad exhaust, which is 2x114 if i'm not mistaking) to eliminate as much gap and get kind of the GTR look

That looks good,

just what I am looking for as the previous owner of my car cut my bumper for quad tips already. The tips stick out a bit far this should help them blend in a bit better for not too much $. I don't want to go full exhaust since I am doing headers and it will be too loud

Didnt know this thread existed.

Here's mine with HKS Legamax Sports Quad-tip exhaust:

The bumper garnishes from HKS stick out a lot in those pics since my bumper was dirty lol, but once cleaned they look good.

For a quad exhaust system, would a newer '16-'17 model wrx exhaust system work cat-back. Do the exhaust hangers match close? fitment of exhaust piping
