I received the tablet. I performed a stage one tune since I have the K & N air filter, and TR D exhaust. The car feels a lot different. TheRPMs are a lot lower when idling. But I feel a much stronger pull in the lower RPMs. It's mellowed out the sound of my exhaust too. Sounds even better!I definitely don't regret getting it, I enjoy it very much. The headers just shipped yesterday. So when I get them on and put a stage two tune on it I'll let you know how it feels. I plan on doing a Dyno run after the butt dyno

Wow I think it's time for an oil cooler.. Hitting high 260s at NOLA motorsports, highest was 269 in 95 degree ambient temps. I didn't go easy on the car, but since this is my second day in a row at the track, I'm going to change oil this week to be safe. 269 degrees can't be good for oil! The stock tires are getting a little slippery too in the heat. Dropped them down to about 28 psi cold and they're easily up to 35+ on the track after a lap.

Those are the same temps I was seeing after my track night at NOLA and I was running redline 0w20. I wish I had my oil pressure gauge working so I could have seen what the pressure was dropping to.

I'm just using the Subaru 0w20. On my last session I hit 269f temp and pressure stayed at about 44-45 psi from 4-6k, from 6k to redline it was about 50psi. I've got the pressure sensor mounted in the stock sender location. I managed a 2:18 on stock tires with winmax brakes. Not terrible for my second weekend, but there was a guy there in a nx2000 that was neck and neck with me the whole time lol

Good info on the oil temps. I've had issues with my ODBII bluetooth adapter the times I've tried to use it at the track. I dumped the cheap elm327 and got a decent scantool adapter now to use next time.

I did three weekends on the stock tires. They are good enough to start out with but after a couple of weekends of experience and heat cycles in them I was ready to get something a little better.

You looked good out there. I was an instructor in the red Miata on Sunday. I really wouldn't worry about 269f temps. I hit over 260f temps in my turbo S2000 with an oil cooler. The guy in the NX2000 was pitted next to us. He was definitely giving that car all it had.

You got the oil pressure working now right? Got down to a new personal best of a 2:00.0 on Saturday with optimal laptimes being in the 1:59s. I think that is the best these tires can do. I added the video to my build thread if you guys want to see it:

Hi everyone. I'm out here in Mandeville, LA. Had my FRS for almost 3yrs. Starting to get curious about getting a supercharger in it. Any suggestions?

@nolaboy I just moved to Mandeville a couple of months ago from across the lake, I'll have to keep my eyes open for ya.

As far as the supercharger, I have been closely following the edelbrock eforce supercharger.. Looks awesome and sounds like it has plenty of headroom for more boost. It comes with a 36k warranty, CARB legal (probably not important here lol) and supposed to put 242 to the ground.
